A new surf yoga retreat in Bali by WaveHaven will be opening on Bali’s Bukit Peninsula.
After surfing all over the globe for the last 20 years. And many visits to Bali, we felt that there was something missing in Bali. There are plenty of surf camp’s in Bali catering for the backpacker / hostel crowd, with relatively cheap accommodation. On the other end of the spectrum, the Bukit in Bali has some very nice high end hotels. But there is nothing in between.
Bali Surf Yoga Retreat
We combine the vibe and social atmosphere of the surf camps and hostels but combine it with the comforts of the high end hotels and retreats.
Comfortable beds, nice sheets and pillows, awesome food and a large communal area where the guests can relax after a day of surfing the great waves that Bali has to offer.
About WaveHaven Bali Surf Yoga Retreat
The 2 founders of WaveHaven have a combined surf experience of 30+ years. And have 20+ years of experience in the hospitality industry. WaveHaven is located on the Bukit. The mecca for surfers visiting Indonesia. With superb surf spots like Uluwatu, Padang Padang, Bingin, Dreamland (new Kuta) and Balangan all within a short walk or drive away. We know that WaveHaven will be meeting your expectations for an unbelievable surf holiday in Bali.
What Sets Wavehaven Yoga & Surf retreat apart?
We are located in Bingin, on the Bukit in Bali. Bingin is one of the world’s best left waves. A mechanical left that works like a machine wave, every wave is almost the same at the one before. Not for beginners though. However the misconception that bali’s Bukit only caters for advanced surfers is Wrong. There are at least half a dozen of surf spots that are ideal for people with limited surf experience. The insude of Padang padang ( only a few hundred meters from Bingin) is ideal for people who have never surfed before. Impossibles ( next to Bingin) on small to intermediate days is ideal for people that have a few weeks of surf experience. Balangan is also a good beach for beginners and intermediate surfers, just don’t go at dead low tide, since it might be too shallow.
On the other side of the Bukit, there are several good surf spots for beginners and intermediate surfers around the Nusa Dua and Serengan area.
